Acer Ignites Gamers’ Passion with Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Qualifiers and Character Design Competition
KUALA LUMPUR, 25 July 2024 – The sixth edition of the Asia Pacific Predator League is back, featuring some top Dota 2 and VALORANT teams from across the region. Players and coaches from 15 regions will compete for a major prize pool of USD 400,000 and the chance to etch their names in esports history. Acer also hosted the Predator League character design competition, allowing fans and gaming enthusiasts to showcase their passion by creating the next Predator League icon.
Acer has set the stage for various qualifying tournaments throughout the region, culminating in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Grand Finals to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This marks the tournament's debut in the vibrant city, following previous editions in Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Manila since its inception in 2018. Since then, the Asia Pacific Predator League has seen significant growth, starting with just eight participating regions in the first tournament, and now welcoming teams from more than 15 regions and amassing a total of USD 1.75 million in prize money for aspiring esports talents.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 kicked off its new season with a character design competition that built around the theme "It Lies Within". The winner and first runner-up are CHK DSK and Sid Ibamit from the Philippines, while YoungPray from Thailand and Jiva from Indonesia share the second runner-up position. Fans are invited to follow Predator Gaming on social media, where the new character will be unveiled, embodying the true power and courage that lies within.
Registration for Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 Malaysia Qualifiers is now open until August 18, 2024. Aspiring teams can vie for a portion of the prize pool and the chance to lift the coveted Predator Shield by registering at REGISTER
Acer is also bringing the tournament closer to more gamers across Malaysia by hosting the Asia Pacific Predator League Malaysia Qualifiers in two territories: West Malaysia & East Malaysia, from mid-September until the end of September 2024.

Grand Finals @One Utama LG Concourse : 16th - 17th November 2024
The champions of each territory will compete in an offline event in Klang Valley in November 2024. The winner will receive a lion’s share of the RM 180,000 (USD 38,500) local prize pool and the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the Asia Pacific Predator League Grand Finals, playing against the best teams from 14 other regions.
